ART ‘N’ MOVE is a stimulating, fun program that will build your child’s skills, confidence and independence.

Our activities encourage your toddler or preschooler to explore and experience new sensations and use their imagination, as they develop physical, social and intellectual skills.

PAINTING, DANCING, COLLAGE, MUSIC, STORIES ... AND MORE

All activities are linked through a weekly theme and each 45 minute session incorporates:

Story-time + Dramatic Play

Story-time promotes listening and language skills, develops rhyme and repetition, and helps children discover the world around them. Puppets sprouting rhyme and song also gather an enthusiastic audience.
During Dramatic Play children use props and make-believe to deepen their understanding of the world. Pretend and play-acting stimulates imagination, develops vocabulary, and promotes cooperation and the sharing of ideas. Pretending allows children to think abstractly, as they recall experiences and recreate them.

Music and Movement

Our Music and Movement activities develop both sides of the child’s brain, and stimulate social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and language development.

Art and Craft

From painting, to printing to collage – we emphasise the creative process, not the end product. Each child’s artistic expression is unique – there is no right or wrong – and the children’s pride in their accomplishments is evident.

Interactive Play

Children use their imaginations, stimulate their curiosity and experience the joy of discovery as they explore our array of developmental toys. In the process of figuring out how things tick, children solve problems, develop hand-eye coordination, and strengthen and control body muscles.
